"I've worked with MRPP on patient recruitment campaigns since 1993. They've done an excellent job and their negotiating skills have continually brought in our targeted buys under budget!"
-Bryan McIntyre, Chief Operating Officer
Long before we heard radio ads recruiting new patients to test drugs, Bryan McIntyre (currently of PharmaTech Solutions) was with a small company called Butler Clinical Recruitment Services. About eight years ago they came to MRPP for their media expertise to partner with BCR in recruiting patients for clinical studies. Although BCR was subsequently bought by another clinical research organization (CRO), Mr. McIntyre continued his relationship with MRPP as he began his career with PharmaTech Solutions in Wilmington, NC.
MRPP did the research, applied their strategy and recommended a new concept for recruiting patients- broadcast. Drug companies had never thought of running ads on radio or TV. Broadcast stations had never run ads to recruit patients to test new drugs.
MRPP had played an integral role in pioneering a new way to recruit patients in this industry. What was a new approach back in the early 1990s is now one of the most effective ways drug companies recruit patients.
